Welcome Back, Ruben Studdard!
Ruben Studdard hasn't lost faith in his music career. The American Idol winner is set to release a new album on May 19th. This will be his fourth album titled, Love IS, and it will be composed of many love ballads. Studdard hopes to re-connect with the audience that voted him through to a win on the second season of the show.

All of the songs on the new album are all-time personal favorites of Rubens, plus a few new ballads written and performed by Studdard. Love IS features covers of many classic love ballads such as Michael Jacksons “I Can’t Help you", Al Green’s “For the Good Times,” the Beatles' “The Long and Winding Road," and one of my favorites-- Extreme’s “More Than Words.” . A full-scale concert feftour, in-store appearances, and radio shows are also in the works to accompany the release of the album this Spring. Apparently, the soulful 'teddy bear ' has become somewhat of a work-a-holic while on haiatus. Sources cite he is very eager to get back in the studio to begin working on his next album!
